Facilities for a Graduation Party

To Members of the Manhattan Forum,

I will be graduating with my Ph.D. in History from K-State in December of 2008. I will be travelling with family to the ';Little Apple'; and would like to find a nice restaurant or facility to have a little graduation party.

I do know Manhattan very well. I lived there for 10 years but, need some ideas on where to host a get-together for friends and family.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Facilities for a Graduation Party

Brooklyn Wildkat,

I%26#39;m not sure how many is in your party, but here are a couple suggestions:

-The Rose Room at Harry%26#39;s: I believe this private room only holds about 20, but this is one of the best restaurants in Manhattan

-Little Apple Brewery: private room holds 54 people and you can either reserve the whole thing or a portion of the room. I%26#39;m actually having my wedding rehearsal dinner there and I%26#39;ve been very happy with the service I%26#39;ve received so far from the staff.

-Kansas State Alumni Club: there are small rooms upstairs that you can reserve for functions, however you would have to have someone cater in food (they have a list of preferred vendors)

Hope this helps! Congrats on your Ph.D!

Facilities for a Graduation Party

Hello Jenn Lane,

Just looked up Manhattan, KS Graduation Parties,

There is a Bed and Breakfast, - Scenic Valley Inn that has an Event Center for Graduation Parties. Holds up to 150 people for all kinds of events . . .Rehearsal Dinners, Weddings, Family Reunions. The Inn has 4 suites but already booked for 2009, 2010 spring Graduation. Check out the views of the rooms at www.scenicvalleyinn.com. It really is a very homey atmosphere, great food, great hosts.

Hopefully they don%26#39;t still need the info, they were scheduled to graduate last December:-)
