Pat%26#39;s Pig BBQ branched out from Topeka and took over the site on N. 2nd St. in Burlington KS, formerly a very nice sports grill and bar. The place is very roomy, with a ';family'; dining room, ';bar'; room, and ';banquet room'; which opens up to expand the bar when needed. This is off the main drag, Hwy. 75. You turn East at the stoplight by the Dairy Queen, go two blocks to the Country Haven Inn hotel, then turn right and there you are!
The food -- Really good BBQ. Pulled pork, ribs, beef, chicken ... it%26#39;s all top-notch, and prices are low. Sweet potato fries are outta this world! Cold beer and a full bar in the south rooms.
The music --- This is a BLUES place. The recorded music playing during the day, etc., is blues and more blues. On a regular basis they have LIVE BLUES SHOWS, featuring top bands from the KC club scene ... TUF, Johnny I %26amp; the Receders, Blue 88, Doghouse Daddies, Delta Highway, Scotty Boy, Eoff Bros Band, Billy Ebeling, etc., etc. Holy Cow! (or Holy Pig!) What are these bands doing in Burlington.
You%26#39;ve gotta come here to see top blues talent without the hassle of driving to KC, and to gnaw some %26#39;Cue.

Pat's Pig Rocks ... Burlington ???
Do you recomend the original Pats in Topeka?
I think Pats has closed in Burlington. The phone number is out of service and all references to that location have been removed from the website.
Been away awhile ... Yes, the Burlington Pig died. (*sigh*) ... no sweet potato fries in B-town.
I do like the one in Topeka/Pauline, but it%26#39;s more of a family diner atmosphere. They actually supplied the meat for the Burlington restaurant, while it lasted.
