I think I know all of the good ones in Johnson County, but do you have any recommendations for special displays across the rest of the state?

Outstanding Kansas Christmas displays.
There is a house at 17th and Park Place in north central Wichita that is certainly worth a trip to see. I can%26#39;t remember how many lights are in the decorations but it is several thousand.
where are some of the good lighting displays in johson county?
This one: kansastravel.org/falmouthchristmasdisplay.htm and the two links at the top of page.
There are good but less impressive on 75th just east of Antioch amd Johnson drive a half mile west of I-35.
Also a house in south Overland Park where they broadcast Christmas music on lew power FM and the lights are linked to the music. Don%26#39;t have the address handy (I%26#39;m on vacation this weekend).
The other house with the display linked to the music is actually in Leawood, one block east of Roe Avenue on 132nd Street
A small sign will direct you to tune your radio to 96.9 FM.
There are some other good displays nearby including one up the street with large lighted lollipops.
I forgot to mention one of the neatest Kansas City area Chritsmas light displays: Paulie%26#39;s Penguin Playground. It is in Olathe and has around 150 inflated Christmas decorations. kansastravel.org/olathechristmaspenquins.htm
Any new leads for this Christmas season?
Thanks to everyone who has offered ideas so far! TopekaDucky, I am visiting Winter Wonderland tomorrow evening.
For folks looking in the KC area, here is my list of places worth visiting in Johnson County: kansastravel.org/kansascitychristmasdisplays…
Thanks for bringing this post to the top since it is once again appropriate!
If others see this, I hope they add to the list since we also like to see the lights this time of year..thanks!
TopekaDucky, my favorite was one that I am sure you are long awear of, Potwin Place. These are the ones that I liked best: kansastravel.org/topeka/topekachristmasdispl…
Oh....I grew up in the Potwin neighborhood, and I guess that is something I take for granted! LOL
I am so glad that the neighborhood (and Topeka) has worked hard to keep it authentic!!! We also have a nice area just kind of north of Washburn University called Westboro that is very nice.
Both neighborhoods also have great 4th of July Parades every year if you ever head this way for something different.
