Visiting KC for Chiefs game, best place to stay?

Planning on coming to KC for Chiefs vs NY Giants. Could nsomeone recommend good Hotel/Ares to stay? Traveling with 12 45/50 year old fans.

That depends a little on what you are planning to do.

If you are just coming in for the day of the game and one night, I would suggest staying close to the stadium. There are several hotels near it, but my first choice would be the Drury Inn %26amp; Suites Stadium.

If you are making a weekend of it and plan to see the metro area, there are a wide range of options. My first recomendation to a group from out of town, would be one of the hotels on the Counry Club Plaza. The Plaza is a beautiful Spanish influenced entertainment district and you would have many restaruants, bars and shops within walking distance.

The Westin Crown Center or Hyatt Regency Crown Center would provide walking access to another selection of entertainment, restaurants and shops in Crown Center. This group are all indoors and there are also attractions.

Or if you are on a budget, and keeping expenses down is a big factor, I would look at one of the Overland Park, Kansas hotels.

The first three suggestions were all in Kansas City, Missouri.

The casinos are also not too far from the stadium. Harrahs has a property, Ameristar or Argosy all have hotels if that is of interest. I prefer Ameristar because they have a great sports bar and movie theater.
