Hotel that allows small dogs in Lawrence????

I am at my witts end.. can%26#39;t find a hotel in Lawrence area that allows small dog. Can anyone help? I hve received a few suggestions in Kansas City area, etc. but none of which allow pets. We are attending an event in Linwood can anyone suggest a place to stay? We are looking for 4+ or better with places to eat, and allows small dogs... HELP, DESPERATE

None of the nicer hotels in Lawrence allow pets. I found this website:

Thanks so much for your help, I will check into this. I actually looked into Overland Park, there seems to be some nice places that allow dogs there. Not too far from Linwood. Would you say it about a half hour drive?

Depending on where you are in OP, a half hour sounds about right. Another idea is the Super 8 in De Soto, it%26#39;s off K-10 and closer yet to Linwood. They allow pets.

Try the Candlewood Suites in Village West. They do charge a surcharge for pets, but most do anymore.

Was there a particular reason you decided against the Westin Crown Center?

They are unusually accommodating to people that have pets. Even put them on a floor that has a walk out are for taking dogs.

The Westin Crown Center is a nice place to stay-I didn%26#39;t know they allowed dogs. I%26#39;d do this!

I looked at the Westin and thought it was a nice place to stay, and yes they accept small pets... however, my spouse wanted to stay a little closer to Linwood, but I will sure keep this one in my back pocket.
