transport to KU

Hi everybody

how can I get from Kansas City airport to Lawrence, Kansas, without a car? I%26#39;d like to go to KU: is it far from Lawrence city centre?

Any advice would be most welcome!

Portions of the campus are only a few blocks from the downtown. But it is a large and hilly campus. Parts of the campus would be a long walk.

The Massachusetts Street area (City Center) is just east of campus about 4-6 blocks as Lighthouselover stated, but many students do walk from the campus to Mass St since that is a popular hangout not only for students but many of us oldies like to go there for shopping, dinner, and good times :)

While we are on the subject of KU and transportation does anyone know of shuttle buses that run from the downtown area to campus for basketball and football games?

Wow good question...I%26#39;ve not worked there now for several years, but there used to be a shuttle bus pick-up in the parking lot outside the Lied Center that would drop off on the north side of the stadium during football season.

I am at work so don%26#39;t have time to check but guess there is probably something on the KU website?
