Looking for suggestions on what to do

We will be in Kansas City, KS for a ball game August 3-6 and we are looking for suggestions/ideas on any ';fun stuff'; to do.

Also, looking for suggestions on restaurants and anything that we should see as we probably won%26#39;t be back for a while.

You don%26#39;t say how old the people in your party are, their interests, or how far you are willing to travel.

If there are any kids in your party, I strongly recommend visiting the T-Rex Cafe, which is just a few hundred yards from the T-Bones%26#39; stadium. Another good nearby restaurant is Granny%26#39;s Chicken Ranch.

You should probably visit at least one classic KC BBQ joint. If you have never been to the original Arthur Bryants (not the one neat the stadium), I would recommend going to the one at 18th %26amp; Brooklyn in KC, MO.

Also at least one classic steak house, perhaps the Majestic which is in a great old building in downtown KC,MO and has jazz.

Attractions that stand out include the National WWl Museum, Steamboat Arabia Museum, and the Negro Leagues %26amp; Jazz Museums which share the same building just a few blocks from Bryants.

But depending on what you like, you could easily fill your time without doing any of those.
