Rock Chalk

Rock Chalk Jayhawk---Go KU.

Defeating North Carolina was almost as sweet as winning it all.

I was going to post this morning about our beloved KU team, but you beat me to it! LOL

In case anyone else sees this and is interested...the team lands here in Topeka around 1:30 today at Forbes Field.

Memorial Stadium will be open (rain or shine), and the team is expected to arrive there around 3PM...Whoo Hoo KU!!!!!

As Mr. Foster (our long standing band director) used to say;

';It%26#39;s a great day to be a Jayhawk!';

The KU-Memphis game was so exciting, and KU winning was the icing on the cake! What a long proud tradition KU basketball has.

And it%26#39;s a beautiful campus to visit (just keeping it travel related ;-) )

I saw that there were 28,000 in attendence at Memorial Stadium to meet the team yesterday afternoon, but several of my coworkers were there and said they thought there were more people than that in the stadium...we had a great turnout here in Topeka when they landed at the airport. Whoo Hoo KU!

Oh yes and to keep it travel related, I hope people will think about including Lawrence, Kansas in their travel plans this summer since it is halfway between the Capitol of Kansas here in Topeka and tons of things to do in Kansas City.
