Kansas 400 September - need help with tickets

Hi

My husband and I really want to see Dario Franchitti in his first Nascar season this year and usually vacation in September. We would like to come to the Kansas 400 but having made various enquiries have been told as far as tickets go our only option is to buy a 4 race package - 2 of the races are earlier in the year though and there is no way we could attend them so it seems a real waste.

Does anyone know if there is a legitimate way we could buy tickets for the race only (and qualifying if needbe)? I know there are other Nascar races in Sept howerver they are all East Coast and we would rather spend our vacation in the Kansas area so we could spend some time in Dallas and catch the state fair before we flew home.

There may be other tour operators with packages.
